Inspiration
One day, out of the blue I asked myself this question:
If you where asked to chose one among all the roles that you play in life -architect/designer, wife, friend, sister, mom- what would I choose to be above all?
Mom. I thought without hesitancy.
Welcome guys to parenthood; you're about to start a wonderful chapter in your life!
I challenged myself to create a 100% edible design. It was great experiencing with new techniques to recreate this antique baby in sugar paste.
I was in disbelief when I was able to produce the sugar lace that wraps around the basinet, as well as the half dome cover!
Ps:
I have to say that my model making skills came into play when building the dome!. I keep on thinking of the Pantheon in Rome!
