My Inspiration

"I have an idea that I want to share with you. Could we make a cake around this?", and she hands me timidly a beautiful little hand drawn sketch of a cute little angel. "This is beautiful. I would love to design something around this", I said.
"My baby is going to wear our family's heritage gown", and she proceeds to describe it. I am listening.
I have always had a passion for old architecture. It "talks" to me. I find myself wondering about all the years and events that those buildings have witnessed. In that regards, heirlooms are to me like little old "buildings", full of meaning and character. Something to care, celebrate and cherish.
I am a big proponent of designing a cake that is personal, absolutely personalized. I interpreted my customer's ideas, and created this beautiful cake, that speaks of innocence, tradition, elegance and beauty.
