Inspiration
My love affair with the Golden Gate Bridge started, of course, in college while in Architecture school. I could have never imagined that years later I would be crossing it periodically.
Being new to the bay area, I set up my GPS to take me to my business meeting to College of Marin, completely ignorant that my final destination was on the other side of the SF Bay.
The magnificence of the bridge took me by surprise. Yes, I got goosebumps, my eyes where watery.
“We want to celebrate their engagement!!!...They live in San Francisco, and will be
coming to their engagement party. We want a Magnificent Golden Gate themed
center piece. Brigid said you where the right person”, said my client.
Golden Gate Bridge….Fabulous…and my over active imagination was once again ignited.
I believe this cake turned out as magnificent as the bridge itself,
